… which of course is totally stupid (not a single case in Berlin) – but it is good to have some emergency supplies anyway, plus the action was fun: the supermarket was crazy full in an off-market time, and while the supply system works, there were some noticeable holes in some shelves. While chatting up the friendly cashier at check-out, she confirmed ‘yes – lots of hamster shoppers’ (!) :)
In the (unlikely) event my Chevy truck is actually ready tomorrow as scheduled (after 4 months and a truckload of cash), I could go shopping some more with the truck – but I wion’t do that, it might scare people …
